Welcome to the Universal Health Institute New Patient Center!
Arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be a nerve racking experience. Paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, and getting to know your way around the office; this can hit the senses all the at same time causing overload.
In contrast, at Universal Health Institute our aim is to remove any stressor causing unnecessary tension and make you feel comfortable. In this area of the website you will be able to take care of items necessary for your visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your home.
Your first visit will be about an hour long, please plan accordingly. If there is an extensive medical history, more time might be necessary. If you have x-rays or MRI's that are less than one year old, please bring those as well. As you will see, our paperwork is quite extensive. Please take a moment to complete it before your appointment.
Your second visit is called a "Report of Findings". At this visit the doctor will review your x-rays with you and go over your treatment plan. Also at this appointment, the account supervisor will have a Financial Consultation with you. At this consultation we will go over your insurance coverage, specifically as it relates to your treatment plan. Since some insurances vary coverage by diagnosis and treatment plans, it is difficult for us to give an estimate before the Report of Finding visit. We offer many options for payment, and our Account Supervisor will go over all those with you as well.
